■From the author (excerpt from this book)
Hello.
I never really liked drawing, but when I was about 4 or 5 years old, I happened to draw a picture carefully and my nursery teacher praised it profusely, and I got carried away, and I've been drawing ever since.
I usually draw a lot of moving pictures for animation, but sometimes I want to draw a lot of still pictures, so I try to draw a lot of illustrations. This book is a collection of those works.
In my illustrations, I like to use pointillism and draw lots of small things, which allow me to express delicate details that would be difficult to move in animation, without thinking about the consequences. I also often draw buttocks. This is because I like sculpting and events that take place around the buttocks.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has encouraged me to get carried away, including my nursery school teachers, and I would like to continue living my life with the motto of being serious, simple, and inquisitive, as I see the publication of this book as one of the important events in my life that has encouraged me to get carried away. I also hope that my work will inspire others to get carried away.
