■From the author (excerpt from this book) Sometimes when people see my paintings they say, "This reminds me of an experience I had." Memories of someone who must have lived a completely different life. I feel an immense joy in having stirred that person's memory. He titled this collection of works "Lost and Found." I hope that the book will contain some important things left behind by the person who picks it up.
